Fine quality, William IV/ Early Victorian, oak longcase clock of small proportions with extensive inlaid decoration, having swan neck pediment to top with reeded columns and brass capitals, shaped crossbanded and inlaid doors flanked by reeded pilars, panelled base with moulded edge. All standing on bracket feet united by shaped apron. This clock has 8-day rack striking, attractive painted dial with subsudury seconds dial, bludsteel shaped fingers and date apature. The movement has been cleaned and serviced by a horologist and it is guaranteed for 12 months (UK mainland). c1840
