Description
R048 Victorian Aesthetic movement mahogany and ebonised stick stand in the manner of James Shoolbred. This quality stick stand has an arched top section with a finely carved centre piece with floral carvings either side supported by decorative turned spindles underneath, flanked by the outside turned spindles, with further fine carvings topped with ebonised finials, the panelled back below has ebonised grooves to give the appearance of tongue and groove boards.
Three turned supports carry the brass rail to contain walking sticks and umbrellas,
Two shaped brackets connect the back section to the plinth with holds the original drip tray.
This quality stand is in home ready condition.
