19th Century English Inlaid Side Table in Walnut

Sn5407 Exquisite English walnut and inlaid side table or occasional table of serpentine outline, having ebony inlay to the top decorated with satinwood floral motifs and ivory cherubs with butterflies above finely inlaid drawer fitted with original working lock and a key, frieze also being inlaid in floral motifs, birds with original pen work and scrolls, all standing on cabriole legs terminating in ormolu sabots. This fine quality table would make a good writing table or dressing table. All in original condition throughout, ready to place at home. c1870
